The EFH project is a great way to get practical experience to build your CV and to do something that makes a difference.
The project is a part of OU Engineering For Humanity, but is open to anybody at studying at the Open University. It is a member led programme where OU students and alumni from all courses work together to produce a real world solution to address in, some small way, a global issue.
This year, the current project involves working with Practical action to help provide a rainwater harvesting system for rurrally isolated villages in Sudan.
We’ll be working with other societies including OUDES (Open University Development and Environment society) to create a practical outcome that has a positive impact.
